How to choose the right belt size
A well-chosen belt buckles on the centre hole: it hangs nicely, doesn't leave too much excess length and gives you some leeway if your waist size varies. Here is how to find the right size.
Understanding our belt sizes
Our belts are marked with two numbers, for example 95/110:
- 95 is the length in centimetres from the buckle to the 3rd hole (the middle hole);
- 110 is the total length of the belt, buckle included.
The 3rd hole corresponds to your ideal waist size, so you keep some leeway on either side.
Method 1: start from your trouser size
This is the simplest method. Find your trouser size (European size or in inches) and check the chart:
| Belt size | EU trouser size | Size in inches |
|---|---|---|
| 85/100 | 34-36-38 | 26-28-30 |
| 90/105 | 40 | 31 |
| 95/110 | 42 | 33 |
| 100/115 | 44 | 34 |
| 105/120 | 46-48 | 36-38 |
| 110/125 | 50 | 39 |
| 115/130 | 52 | 41 |
| 120/135 | 54 | 42 |
| 125/140 | 56 | 44 |
| 130/145 | 58-60 | 46-48 |
| 135/150 | 62 | 49 |
| 140/155 | 64 | 50 |
| 145/160 | 66 | 52 |
Method 2: measure a belt you already wear
Take a belt that fits you well and measure it flat, from where the buckle is attached to the hole you usually use. This measurement corresponds to the first number of our sizes.
Between two sizes?
Go for the larger size: a belt that is slightly long can always be worn, whereas a belt that is too short won't fasten comfortably. All our belts are adjustable.
Stretch belts
Our braided stretch belts are chosen according to your waist size, in letter sizes (XS, S, M…). Their elastic weave lets you push the prong through wherever you like, for a perfectly precise fit.
